Production Workers are responsible for aiding in all areas of the precast plant.  They are responsible for collecting materials, pulling strand, setting up forms under supervision and basic concrete placing.


They participate in housekeeping and other various tasks throughout the plant. A high level of safety practices must be used at all times.


  • Receive oral instructions to determine work assignments.
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
  • Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete
  • Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
  • May assist with minor repairs and maintenance
  • Remove rubble and other debris
  • Clean and remove excess debris from molds and other equipment
  • Participate in daily Pre-Production Meetings
  • Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each task


Education Required:                          

  • High School Diploma

Years of Experience:                          

  • Minimum 2 years Construction or concrete experience

Specific Experience

  • Experience working in a production line setting
  • Prior experience in a precast setting or working with concrete is considered an asset


  • Safety Oriented
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to work in a fast paced, high production environment
  • Willing to work overtime and shifts when needed including Saturdays
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Able to work well with others
  • Good communication skills


Working Conditions

  • Wage:$21-$24
  • Full time,  40 hours a week and under competencies CSTS-09
