Support Geocycle quality program at assigned plant. Effective management of Product Quality Control and Quality Processes to ensure product performance, product cost management, effective reserve utilization and customer satisfaction


  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Execution of Job Hazard Analyses for QC Tasks, and implementation of Action Item
  • Execution and implementation of QC Safety Improvement Plans
  • Manage routine daily operation of the pre-processing facility in accordance with established procedures and schedules
  • Responsible for daily/routine operation of the quality program at Geocycle Brookfield.
  • Responsible for accurate analysis, evaluation, and handling of materials received at the pre-processing platform.
  • Responsible for site management of fuel unloading and transfer station; including, material receiving and load documentation, inventory tracking, delivery orders, environmental and safety compliance, and routine repairs. Coordinate and complete calibration and repairs of analytical equipment to maintain functionality and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with permitted requirements at all times.
  • Coordinate efforts between Geocycle and plant
  • Coordinates the QA/QC program with the Corporate QA/QC Manager.
  • Ensuring transfer of samples to the Holly Hill laboratory, validating laboratory results, and analyzing output from laboratory equipment.
  • Selection and scheduling of materials to be processed and blended into fuel based on analytical results, current inventories, and plant specifications.
  • Maintain adherence to AFR policy, A-Cert, ISO, and OSHAS certifications.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, ensuring optimum utilization of space, and proper inventory rotation based on “first in/first out” principle.
  • Support plant quality team.

Interact with team members on a regular basis to gather or communicated information, solve problems and meet deadlines.  Work with sales and customers to meet their needs and communicate our position. 


Required Education:  Bachelor's/Undergraduate Degree

Field of Study Preferred:  Engineering or Sciences

Required Training/Certifications:  Experience in an environmental or industrial lab or fuel processing plant.     Familiar with operation of equipment such as forklifts and loaders.  

Required Work Experience:   1-2 years
