The Service Delivery Coordinator is responsible for the continuous, consistent and timely delivery of IT network infrastructure and supporting processes. The Service Delivery Coordinator will focus on the successful Move, Add and Change activities to deliver on time and on budget a reliable and scalable network platform that supports the needs of the user community. Ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple demands and quickly shift from one engagement to another. She/he possesses a process improvement mindset and continually looks for ways to improve processes. To be successful in this position, outstanding and proactive communication skills are required. Must be comfortable communicating with a variety of people. This position interacts with end-users, customers, engineers, vendors, account managers and more. 


  • Coordinates the operational and tactical ordering of network Move, Add and Change requests in accordance with capacity management and project deliverables
  • Act as the point of contact between regional business stakeholders, operations and build engineers and vendor representatives for any network circuit quotes, orders and provisioning life cycles
  • Follows up on lead times to quote, lead times to connect and expediting requests as required; reports on tracking information
  • Understands vendors’ processes, policies, products and tools, including but not limited to AT&T MPLS network and BusinessDirect (BD), Commercial Internet providers sourcing and delivery services and Cisco’s SmartNet Total Care offering.
  • Project coordination and oversight of specific initiatives following LafargeHolcim standard PMO processes
  • Utilize ITIL best practices to implement and improve network process management
  • Issues purchase orders to vendors as required.
  • Possesses and maintains a positive customer service attitude toward suppliers, internal customers, customers, and end-users. Understands the needs of the end-user with regard to meeting expected delivery dates.


Job Dimensions


  • Sales, number of people, budget, volumes etc.:
    • Regional network infrastructure of an annual cost in excess of $7.2M USD
    • 3 countries, ~750 sites and ~11,000 employees
    • Coordination of 100-150 MACD orders annually
    • Infrastructure network services provided on a 24x7x365 basis
  • List of direct reports: N/A
  • Key interfaces, stakeholders and relationships:
    • Network and Communication Vendors: Regularly interfaces with providers to request quotes, submit circuit orders and scheduling for execution
    • Regional Delivery Engineer and Operational Analysts: Coordination and scheduling of circuit order and provisioning to meet and exceed business requirements.
    • Operations Team Lead: Follows capacity management and proactively engages to ensure operational needs are met on time and on budget
    • Delivery Manager: Collaborate and seek approvals for financial obligations as a result of operational and / or business requirements; reports information about status and timeline of in flight orders


Level of education/qualifications normally required:

  • College Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
