    Assures product quality of LCM activities from Hamilton/Niagara/Tri-Cities Division.


    • Mix Designs – Monitor and report inconsistencies
    • Field Quality Control Testing - Additions of various admixtures, ACI Quality Control tests.
    • Project Supervision - Oversee the testing, delivery requirements, and independent quality control personnel on projects supplied by LCM, acting as a liaison to Dispatch.
    • Troubleshooting - Provides customer support in resolving quality concerns and problems in the field. Educates customers in proper construction techniques and applications of our LCM products.
    • Research and Development - Assist Quality Control Supervisor in testing new products and developing new mix designs.
    • Laboratory – Various lab testing, primarily relating to aggregate
    • Assist salesmen, superintendents, & managers as required
    • Liaison with consulting firms, & independent labs
    • Customer service, with regards to testing, & product information
    • Liaison with Hamilton lab
    • Must be able to interpret test results, & recommend changes if needed
    • Must understand basic operations of ready-mix, & aggregate plants
    • Will assist Quality Control personnel in other areas, when available

    • Minimum post secondary degree, diploma, or equivalent experience, preferably in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology. 
    • Prior experience in the industry is essential, preferably in Quality Control, Quality Assurance or sales in ready mix concrete and cement. 
    • The employee must have, and maintain, a valid class G driver’s license in the province of Ontario. 
    • Personnel in this position will be even tempered, and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
