We are a division of Lafarge Aggregates and Concrete, and operate a ready-mix supply company across all of North America. This position is based in Barrie, Ontario for the greater Barrie area including Alliston and Collingwood. ( 3 ready-mix plants ).
Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor the candidate will be responsible for various concrete tests, such as slump, air content, cylinder casting and aggregate sampling. This is an entry level seasonal position. Approximately 80 % of your time will be spent on various jobs across the Barrie area.
Although a company vehicle will be available to perform the above duties, the candidate will be required to use their own transportation to get to the office; therefore a valid driver’s license is required ( Minimum G2).
As there are no pre-qualifications for this position the applicant should have an entrepreneurial spirit, be self motivating and have good interpersonal skills.
