    Overview

    We are currently seeking a Marine Millwright at our Richmond, BC location.

    Responsibilities

    • Receive oral instructions to determine work assignments.
    • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
    • conveyor maintence
    • Mechanical fitting
    • Servicing surrounding locations in GVA
    • All other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Journeyman status (Red Seal)
    • Strong proficiency in welding, fabrication & rigging
    • Valid class 5 driver’s license
    • Experience operating heavy equipment, specifically a loader would be considered an asset
    • Demonstrated safety attitude
    • Marine knowledge considered an asset
    • Ability to work in varying conditions
    • Ability to do shift work
    • Strong team player
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
