    Overview

    With a customer service focus, this position is fully responsible for administrative support to certain members of the admin & plant leadership team. Furthermore, the role involves responsibility for certain payroll functions.  Excellence is measured by keeping accurate records and files, effective meeting co-ordination, project management, and by demonstrating through actions and words a positive and professional attitude at all times. This position must maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism.

    Responsibilities

    Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Providing administrative assistance to the Admin & Systems Coordinator and the Plant Leadership Team.
    • Answering the main switch board; greeting guest and assisting guests with the iLobby sign in system.
    • Payroll data entry for hourly employees
    • Payroll & admin file management
    • Co-ordinating appointments and meetings (arranging catering and setting up boardrooms)
    • Data entry of safety training records
    • Ordering and maintaining office, coffee and janitorial supplies
    • Manage incoming and out-going mail and courier packages
    • Administrating certain plant programs, policies and events
    • Any other job related duties as required or requested

    2. Responsible for thorough workmanship and high quality. Must meet or exceed the company standards of quality and production.
    3. Maintain good working relationship with others, confidentiality being paramount.
    4. Strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of the work environment; this includes active participation in company committees, project teams and relevant job training.
    5. Commit to your self-development goals as discussed with your supervisor and attend all company sponsored training.
    6. Employee will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement due to the amount of HR system access.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Some relatable post secondary education

    Skills & Experience 

    • 2-5 years of administrative experience, in a fast-paced Manufacturing industry setting
    • Advanced computer skills, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
    • Excellent interpersnal and customer service skills
    • Experience with SAP
