    Concrete Foreman


    • Scheduling day to day tasks for the crew
    • Planning and coordinating with project coordinator’s and inspectors
    • Ordering concrete to site daily.
    • Completing safety documents
    • Supervise a 10 man concrete crew. 
    • Plan daily and weekly schedules
    • Assigning crew members to certain tasks
    • Attention to detail
    • Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement material
    • Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces
    • Ability to recognize proper forming techniques to support required dimensions of concrete structures;
    • Ability to time the stripping of forms to properly finish vertical concrete surfaces;
    • Maintain a safe and clean work area;
    • Other related duties a required.
    • Ensures that safety, compliance, environmental and DOT requirements are followed at all times.
    • Understands how to measure and order granular & Concrete material.
    • Valid Driver’s License (Class 5)
    • Roadbuilding experience. Base/curb and gutter experience.
    • Ability to work overtime.



    • Grade 12 Diploma
    • A minimum of two years Supervisory/Managerial experience working in a similar environment
    • Civil Engineering experience 
    • Full Benefit package including RRSP plan

    • Work 6 Days a week with possible Sundays.
