    Overview

    The Salesforce Administrator will be a key member of the Commercial Services team. This person will be responsible for development, implementation, and support of our existing Salesforce tool.

    Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot and provide end-user support for 400 sales staff across Canada
    • Create, maintain and update Reports & Dashboards based on user requirements
    • Testing & Quality: Test new functionality and coordinate user acceptance testing efforts
    • Manage Data Integration: Upload data via Data Loader
    • Work collaboratively with Key Business Users, IT, and other stakeholders to establish best practices and system change options and to ensure functionality meets business needs
    • Work directly with users to take an idea and turn it into a workable solution. Document these as concise requirements and work with IT and Salesforce to implement
    • Develop new functionality (custom objects, workflow rules, VisualForce pages, etc.) leveraging all the standard Force.com platform features
    • Make suggestions as to how we can replace existing complexity with updated SF features (Process Builder, approval process, quoting, forecasting, etc.)
    • Execute on configuration changes driven by the business. Ensure all changes are reviewed and deployed and approved via the Change Management process
    • Ability to leverage the SF Community to find answers and better ways to do things and present those ideas to Senior Management
    • Ability to develop training materials and conduct training workshops for business users

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's/University Degree
    • Preferred field of study: Information Technology
    • Preferred hands-on experience in developing and deploying Salesforce solutions but willing to provide training
    • Sales experience would be beneficial
    • Travel Requirements: Minimum 20% Travel

     

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • Strong technical skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Effective problem solving skills
    • Project Management Skills an advantage
    • Strong Analytical skills to respond to requested changes and identify customizations
    • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of ACM and Cement business a plus, but not required
    • Salesforce background and experience preferred
    • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Knowledge, Chatter and understanding web services API
    • Sales Cloud and Service Cloud certification a plus
    • Willing to take Salesforce Administrator certification training
