    Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this position will be responsible for estimating and pricing of tendered and negotiated projects including the project management of all acquired concrete pipe or drainage projects.  Regularly liaises with customers to maintain and build new relationship alongside the commercial team.


    • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and sales quotations
    • Provide day-to-day sales and customer service support in the application of concrete pipe or drainage products
    • Follow up on project bids, gather price feedback and track bid results
    • Research potential upcoming projects and obtain drawings and specifications for projects
    • Project manage acquired projects by attending site meetings, identifying and pricing work extra to the contract, coordinating and scheduling the project with the customer, invoicing, collections, and resolving any disputes involving the customer and any other third parties
    • Point of contact between the customer and production staff
    • Ensure all safety requirements of the operations are met, and promote Lafarge's safety culture
    • Strengthen relationships with existing and new customers
    • Work closely with engineering, QC and operation departments to understand the project execution strategy
    • Market and provide customers solutions using drainage products
    • Assist customers with product installation instructions
    • Run and maintain reports as required
    • Other duties as assigned



    • Post-secondary diploma or degree in construction, engineering or architectural technology. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

    Experience and Skill Set:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in estimating, project management or construction
    • Holds or working towards a CET or P.Eng designation
    • Working knowledge of estimating practices and procedures
    • Sound working knowledge in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
    • Knowledge of construction drawings and documents would be considered an asset
    • Experience with SAP would be considered an asset
