    Overview

    Location:     Harte Gold Mine – White River Ontario

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain a Safe Workplace and ensure compliance of the Lafarge Health & Safety Policies
    • Ensure compliance of all governmental regulations.
    • Delivering Paste fill with Ready Mix truck to designated on site locations in a safe and timely manner.
    • Up keep of truck appearance, assist with light maintenance around the backfill plant
    • Paperwork – circle checks, delivery ticket information.
    • Effective and efficient utilization of all company resources
    • Utilization of Lafarge Best Practices and operational tools.
    • To perform Labor duties as well as routine maintenance
    • You will be responsible for traveling to White River where bunkhouse accommodations and all meals will be provided
    • Daily transportation will be provided to and from the mine site based on a rotating work schedule of 12 hours / day; 4 days on - 4 days

    Qualifications

    Key Competencies:

    • Valid Class AZ or DZ drivers license
    • Safety Mindset
    • Mechanically Inclined
    • Team player
    • Strong communicator

     

    Educational Background :       Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

     

    Experience :    3 - 5 years of experience in the trucking industry with a clean driving record.  Training will be provided for operating the ready mix truck.
