    Overview

    To support the GEA Sales Team in billing of concrete orders. Incumbent works in a fast paced team environment with operations, quality control, sales, credit, finance and customers. This position reports to GEA Credit Manager.

    Responsibilities

    Health and Safety:

    • Ensures safe and healthy working conditions in sites under his/her responsibility
    • Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety rules and country regulations

     

    Estimating and Sales

     

    • Manage gained project files and post-delivery issues via 3rd party applications (i.e. SalesForce, SAP, Command, etc)
    • Review orders for correct projects and approved mixes in systems (in conjunction with Gatekeeper/Sales Coordinator)
    • Partner with Gatekeeper/Sales Coordinator to resolve order ticket issues
    • Edit orders to clear errors as required (pre-delivery, post-delivery, etc)
    • Review and release concrete tickets for billing (including the application of extra charges and adjustments as noted on tickets or via sales/plant managers)
    • Respond to ticket inquiries from customers and other departments.
    • Partner with North American Business Services (NABS) and local credit department to respond to order invoices inquires, COD’s, CARB’s
    • Process credit card orders
    • Assist with month end ticket management (including ticket exceptions, COD reconciliation in excel, O/S issues report, LHARP needs, etc)
    • Daily review and filing of delivery tickets to ensure no issues with delivery
    • Other billing related duties as required
    Dimensions:

     

    • Relationships: the incumbent interacts with CCAs, sales reps, plant managers, quality control staff, credit department, as well as external contractors and customers.

     

    Qualifications

    Education: 

    • Minimum post-secondary education or diploma

     

    Experience and Skill Set: 

    • Minimum of 2 years of construction administration experience
    • Previous financial and/or construction industry experience is an asset
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent computer skills, ability to learn new programs quickly
    • Advanced Excel skills, including macros / formulas
    • Strong communication, negotiation and change management skills
    • Ability to negotiate skillfully in all situations while maintaining positive relationships
    • Ability to foster and grow a strong safety culture
